Engineering Circular (EC)
1165-2-209 dated 31 January 2010 provides procedures for
ensuring the quality and credibility of U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers (USACE) decision and implementation
documents through an independent review process. As part
of the process, EC 209 requires that a Review Plan for
each study be developed to document the details of the
review including an assessment of the necessary level
and focus of the review, how the review will be
accomplished, and how the results will be recorded and
distributed. EC 209 also requires that Review Plans be
posted on Corps district office websites to offer the
public an opportunity to comment on the level of review
proposed for each study covered by this EC. The Review
Plans below are provide for that purpose.
