Honolulu District awards $320.2M in FY18 contracts in Hawaii, Pacific region

FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii (Oct. 12, 2018) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District recently completed a very successful Fiscal Year 2018 (FY18) during which 454 contract actions were awarded totaling $320,284,102.

Honolulu District contract actions signify the Corps' commitment to provide high-quality facilities to the Armed Forces of the United States and to protect and improve the lives of the people of Hawaii and the region. The benefit to our Soldiers and Families is immeasurable. Honolulu District is committed to building projects which improve the quality of life for servicemembers and their Families as well as providing jobs which stimulate the local economy. 

Significant awards during the fiscal year were: $74,987,000 for the Behavioral Health/Dental Clinic Addition, Schofield Barracks, $41,476,374 for the MCAF F-22 Fighter Alert Hangar, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, a $20,157,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repair of north drainage, secondary electrical lines and telecommunications, Pohakuloa Training Area, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii, and a $10,689,000 firm-fixed-price contract for renovations at various locations, Schofield Barracks.
