Honolulu District awards $407.2 million in FY19 contracts

 During Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19) the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu awarded 496 contract actions totaling $407.2 million including more than $140 million for small business.

Honolulu District contract actions signify the Corps' commitment to high-quality facilities for the Armed Forces, protect, and improve the lives of the people of Hawaii and the region as well as providing jobs stimulating the local economy.

Significant awards included $139.1 million for runway repair at Bucholz Army Airfield, Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands; $14.2 million for the Operational Readiness Training Complex (Barracks), Phase 1, Pohakuloa Training Area, Island of Hawaii; $33 million for the repair of Quad A, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; $29.5 million for the repair of Bldg. 3004, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and $3.5 million for the repair of Barracks Bldgs. 2075 & 2076, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
