Aerial photograph of the Kaneohe-Kailua Area environs and the flood control project. The project consists of a dam and reservoir on Kamooalii Stream, channel improvements at the mouth of Kaneohe Stream, and an allied public recreation park with fish and wildlife enhancement features. The park is named Hoomaluhia - Place of Peace. The Corps-constructed project was completed in July 1980.
