District DPM gives keynote presentation for Hawaii NIOP event
HONOLULU, Hawaii (Feb. 27, 2020) -- Honolulu District's Deputy District Engineer for Programs and Project Management and Chief, Programs and Project Management Division Steve Cayetano gave the keynote presentation at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Hawaii Chapter's breakfast forum Feb. 27. Cayetano's presentation "Defending Our Country From War and Disasters" focused on USACE projects that greatly impact the NAIOP association in Hawaii, such as the Ala Wai Watershed flood control, the Missile Defense Agency Program, plus new environmental regulations impacting permitting and development. NAIOP is the nation's leading trade association for developers, owners, investors, asset managers and other professionals in industrial office and mixed-use commercial real estate. NAIOP members include developers, owners and investors of industrial, office and related commercial real estate in Hawaii.
