Michael "Mike" Hornbeck, a resident engineer from the Fort Worth District and member of the Debris Planning and Response Team, reviews debris response-related information for the Hawai'i wildfires response at the Fort Shafter Area Construction Branch Office Aug. 29. Following the announcement earlier in the day by the State of Hawai'i and Maui County that USACE would lead Phase 2 personal property debris removal in Maui, he and members of the team are now refining planning for the mission’s execution.
