FCO Thomas Dargan and SCO Administrator James Barros visited Maui to view several aspects of the Hawaii Wildfires recovery mission, Dec. 8, 2023. While visiting the island Dargan and Barros saw some of the modular buildings that will make up a temporary elementary school. The Federal Emergency Management Agency tasked the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with designing and installing the critical public facility to replace a school that was destroyed in the Aug. 8, 2023, Hawaii Wildfires.
