The Honolulu District Formerly Used Defense Site team hosted a 3Rs outreach and training event September 8, 2024 at the Popoki Farmer’s market where they engaged over 200 members of the community, offering Explosives Safety to many who were not familiar with the 3Rs or the historic land use of the area. The team provided residents, gardening gloves with the 3Rs message to remind them of the potential hazard when digging within the area.
