Honolulu District awards $139.1 million contract repairing BAAF

The Honolulu District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded Parsons Government Services Inc a $139.1 million contract for the base items Aug. 28, 2019 repairing Bucholz Army Airfield Runway, Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands. The total contract value (base plus options) is $229.9 million.
The project will repair existing airfield to correct poor pavement conditions to meet the minimum condition and operating requirements. The project area includes work on the runway, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, and lighting.
Honolulu District is committed to building projects, improving the quality of life for service members and their families, as well as providing jobs, which stimulate the local economy.
