Army Corps Awards Phase 1 Contract for Future USARPAC Command and Control Facility

FORT SHAFTER, HI -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District recently awarded a contract for the FY11 PN65650 USARPAC Command and Control Facility, Phase 1, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, to Niking Corp, Wahiawa, Hawaii for $46,780,000.

Contract W9128A-12-C-0003 is the first construction contract issued for the multi-phased construction of the Command and Control Facility - the future Headquarters of U.S. Army Pacific at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

The performance period is 750 calendar days. For this contract, the sealed bidding procurement method was utilized and 10 bids were received.
