  • Army Corps, Army Garrison-Hawaii Participate in Groundbreaking for Phase 2 of CAB Complex

    Representatives from the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii Directorate of Public Works, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and contractor Nan-Samsung LLC personnel participated in a Hawaiian groundbreaking and site blessing March 18 on the south side of the Wheeler airstrip, officially starting the construction for the second phase of the 25th Infantry Division (25th ID) Combat Aviation Brigade Complex (CAB).
  • Honolulu District Engineers Participate in 2015 National Engineers Week Activities

    More than 200 engineers and friends of the 17 organizations within the Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies plus invited local VIPs and dignitaries and engineers from the Honolulu District are expected to gather at the Hale Koa's Banyan Tree Showroom Feb. 24 for a luncheon to kick off Engineers Week 2015, which runs Feb. 22-28. The 2015 Engineers Week theme is “Discover Engineering!” and the local theme is “sustainability.”
  • Army Corps, 2nd Battalion 27th Infantry Regiment “Wolfhounds” Reopen Renovated Quad D Barracks

    Honolulu District officials and Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment "Wolfhounds" gathered in the center of historic Quad D at Schofield Barracks Jan. 23 for a ribbon cutting ceremony, which officially reopened two barracks renovated by the Corps of Engineers.
