U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) completed its Fifth Five-Year Review of the environmental remedies implemented at six munition response sites within WMA, South Kohala, Hawaii. Five-Year Reviews are required by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) to evaluate the implementation and performance of the selected remedy and to determine if the remedy is or will be protective of human health and the environment.
